Ah, caprese! A regular summer feature of our diet!

And here’s how it goes:

Mozzarella, tomato, basil, salt, pepper, olive oil, balsamic vinegar!

Stack your mozzarella, tomato, and basil … and then drizzle everything with the extra-virgin olive oil and the balsamic vinegar. Then sprinkle salt and pepper. All to taste.

Et voila!

  1. Caprese is delicious. I would like to add that this recipe is delightful paired with a chilled white wine or a sweet rose and shared with friends, preferably in the late afternoon sun.
